"One needs to prepare an organization for change. From the outset, you must engage the affected community of people within the organization and get them on board. At Adaptyze, we transform the technical part of project management into something that is understood by all levels."

Lawrence Mantrone

Founder and Managing Director of Adaptyze

Lawrence Mantrone is a consultant specializing in change management, project management and enterprise risk management. Both analytical and people oriented, Lawrence's greatest strength as founder and CEO of Adaptyze is his ability to build bridges between the worlds of IT and business.

With over 30 years’ experience in business, Lawrence understands the challenges that change can bring to an organization and its people. He has sat on both the business and technology sides of the corporate world, and he has witnessed many projects that have been implemented successfully and some that have not. It is this "earned" knowledge, as well as his experience as a corporate trainer and graduate-level educator, that has forged his unique approach to project and change management.

Lawrence possesses an excellent knowledge of current and emerging best practices in organizational change management, and has significant experience managing multidisciplinary, multicultural and geographically distributed teams. In addition, he brings an added dimension to every project — an ability to understand and manage the impact a technical solution has on its users.

Lawrence has held several positions in the human capital management consulting field at Buck Consultants LLC, a subsidiary of Xerox Corporation, including pension actuarial consulting, software development, information technology management and business process improvement. Along with these strong professional credentials, Lawrence holds an M.S. degree in Management and Systems from New York University with a concentration in enterprise risk management. He is a certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Scrum Master.

In addition to his work with Adaptyze, Lawrence is also an adjunct professor at New York University where he teaches graduate courses in information technology management and agile project management.
